7z archive in Microsoft Silverlight 3.0 Installer
7z archive inside a final release installer from Microsoft.
Today I installed Silverlight 3.0, needed it to watch some videos on MSDN. As the Silverlight Installer was laying on the desktop i decided to open it in 7-Zip (i usually do it to see how the installer is built, in case i need to deploy unattended). I was little surprised to see a .7z archive in cab file (installer is executable cab file). My point is, 7z must be something if MS has decided to use it in a final build installer, over their personal favorite WinZip.
