Apple vs Samsung round (who cares)

Just read on GSMArena about the new round in the ongoing fight. Apple wants to ban the sales of Samsung Galaxy S III [i9300].

I can only look it in one way, Apple admits that i9300 is a better device already then their new "iPhone 5" is ever going to be, now they are just trying to smooth things over.

But I think the problem lies in the patent process, where patent office has to be a bit better in granting patents, I mean come on, Universal Search and Smart Links, who hasn't heard about that. Isn't Google Search, been around I don't know how long, built in to all the droid devices a type of universal search. My opinion is, most if these disputes can be avoided if patent office did there work correctly from the beginning.

To be frank I am getting tired of patents that are so obvious, and are in the path of development. I don't think it is wrong to get a patent for your idea, but trying to block development is what I HATE.
