When I booted my computer today, first thing I see is there is new version of Firefox released, namely Firefox 17. Wasn't it like only a month ago last version came out. I miss the old release cycles of Firefox, it was slow, but it made more sense to me.
I mean I knew when they released a new major version, there will be some new goodies in the application, but now a new major is like old minors (which also took some time to come out).
What Mozilla should do is keep there new 6 weeks release cycle, but not release new major versions but instead release minor versions. Mozilla should release a new major version only when there is a need of major version, and not because Google does it with there Chrome browser.
