Add permissions to Azure AD applications

Add extra permissions, other then sign-in from Azure AD in your app, i.e. Skype for Business.

NOTE: Some permissions requires tenants Global Administrator to give a organization wide (AAD) access to your AAD application.

Prerequisites

  • Azure Subscription
  • Office 365 Subscription (For Skype for Business)

Add Required Permissions

  1. Click on the newly created app
    AzureAddPerm01-OpenApp
  2. Click on Require Permissions
    AzureAddPerm02-RequirePermissions
  3. Click on Add icon in top navigation
    AzureAddPerm03-AddPermissions
  4. Search after Skype, if Skype for Business Online does not show up, try Microsoft.Lync
    Select Skype for Business Online and click on Select
  5. Click on Select Permissions
    AzureAddPerm04-SelectAPI
  6. Choose the permissions your application needs access to
    AzureAddPerm05-EnableAccess
    Close the blade by clicking on Select
  7. Close the blade by clicking on Close
