Talk: SQL Server for Linux on Azure for Enterprise
Today I had the honor to speak at the SQL Ireland User Group. I covered basics of how to run SQL Server for Linux on Azure, and also some very advance scenarios.
Disclaimer: Currently I am employed by Microsoft, but my views and thoughts are still my own. The reason I joined Microsoft was, the work Microsoft have been doing for last couple of years in Open Source Space. Today I am a advocate for Open Source representing Microsoft.
Today SQL Server can also run inside a Docker container, and even inside a Kubernetes cluster.
With Kubernetes you can achieve High Availability and Always on Availability Groups in matter of minutes instead of days.
